What does Keys cost a locksmith?
Joining Keys is free and there are no monthly fees. On each job paid through Keys, Keys keeps a service fee — a percentage set for your business when it joins — and pays the card processing fee out of it. Invoices you send your own customers through Keys carry no Keys fee.
How do I get paid?
Customers pay in the app. Your share of each job is transferred to your connected Stripe account, and with the Keys Visa® Spend Card you can use your earnings as soon as the job is done.
What do I need to join?
Sign up your business, then upload your verification documents: a business license, a locksmith license or certification, tax ID documentation and proof of identity. The Keys team reviews them and verifies your business. Each technician you add uploads a driver's license and can sign in once you approve them.
How are jobs assigned?
When a customer asks for help, Keys sends the request to nearby providers who offer that service and are available. Providers send their price, and the customer chooses who to book.
Where can I work with Keys?
Keys works across the United States. You set how far you travel and when you are available in the app, and requests come from customers in your area.
