Text Messaging Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains how phone numbers and text-messaging opt-in information are handled for service providers who use Keys' Smart CRM to call and text their customers. It applies specifically to SMS/text communications sent through a Keys-issued phone number, in addition to (not in place of) Keys' general Privacy Policy.

What we collect

When a customer calls or texts a service provider's Keys-issued phone number, or submits their phone number through a Keys-hosted booking form, we store that phone number so the provider can respond to that specific request and send related service updates (for example: appointment confirmations, technician arrival updates, and quotes for the service requested).

We do not sell or share your mobile number

Mobile phone numbers and opt-in consent collected for text messaging are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver the service-related messages described above, between you and the specific service provider you contacted. You may request deletion of your phone number and messaging history at any time by contacting Keys support through the Contact Us page.

How you opt in

You opt in to receive text messages by directly calling or texting a service provider's published Keys phone number, or by submitting your phone number through their booking request form to request service. No provider on this platform sends messages to a number that has not first contacted them or requested service from them.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any text message at any time to stop receiving messages from that number. Reply HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your service request.
